Santa Rosa Arts Center

Introducing the Santa Rosa Arts Center

For many years, Santa Rosa – the largest city between San Francisco and Portland has needed a not-for-profit, arts education, gallery and performance space. Art centers provide their communities with a resource for art, music, film and literary festivals, salons, art shows, musical events and lectures, for classes, rehearsal and performance spaces.

Since its inception in 2014, Chroma Gallery, located at 312 South A Street, has sponsored art shows, live music concerts, benefits, classes and much more. It became a hub for the South of A (SOFA) arts district, as well as a community art center, providing artists of many experience levels the opportunity to exhibit their work in a formal gallery setting.

In 2018, Chroma Gallery will transition into the Santa Rosa Arts Center. We envision an arts and education institution with exhibits, classes, musical performances and events. Artshows and classes will utilize the gallery and backyard areas at 312. SRAC will partner with other spaces and venues in Santa Rosa for classes, workshops and special events.
