But, each third Thursday we devote the whole session to one long, clothed pose. You can bring paints and easels, though smelly solvents are not welcome.

What a terrific turnout to see the art work from the Thursday Night Drawing Group. Thank you to all the musicians who gave everyone a glorious medley of songs.
For many years we have been part of the crowd, reveling in the undefinable creative explosion called Winterblast, which takes place on the streets of the SOFA Arts District each November. Little did we expect that we’d find ourselves, this year, on the Winterblast steering committee. Between two and three thousand people filled the galleries and studios, Saturday November 15. They lined up four, five deep on both sides of the streets as the illuminated sofas, fire dancers, adn the Hubbub Club paraded down South A street and Sebastopol Avenue. Festival of Friends and FogDub performed at the BAckyard Stage and at Atlas Coffee. There were light shows, colorful lanterns and a kids craft booth. You’ll find photos of all this on the SOFA Facebook page.
