Reception for Artists Friday August 4, 5-8pm. Coincides with SOFA District First Friday Open Studios
Some ideas but not limited to: Close up, abstraction, pattern, texture, juxtapositions, “a slice of life,” and your unique point of view. We welcome your interpretations.
Juror: Stella Monday
Stella has had over 100 solo and group show and has participated in Artrails Open Studios for 22 years. . Her style is unique and most often painterly, where mood, feeling, texture and light are paramount. She currently teaches private classes on “seeing” and composition.
Open to Sonoma County and Bay Area artists. Maximum size 30 x 40 or 1200 square inches. Artists may enter up to 3 photographs. Photography only, no mixed media. A $50 Juror’s Award will be given.
All work must be framed with wire for hanging (no saw tooth hangers). Make sure each work has a label on the back with your name, address, phone number, email address (for notification) size of work, title, and price. All pieces must be for sale. Artists receive 55% of sales and Chroma Gallery 45%.
Entry fee: $15 per entry. $40 for 3 entries
Submissions will be juried by relevance to theme, quality of presentation, uniqueness of vision, and technical skill.
Drop off July 27, 28 and 29 (in person only) between noon and 4pm.
Notification by August 1.
Pick up rejected work August 2 and 3. (No exceptions, please, we don’t have room to store work carefully)
